I struggled with seb derm for 15 years. My face was so messed up during flare ups, I would refuse to attend various events. About two years ago, I found that rubbing a thick coat of Head and Shoulders with 1% Zinc on my face for about 10 minutes in the shower once every couple of days fixed it for me. Healthy exfoliation over time is important but not during flair ups as it makes it worse. My skin is awesome now and it didn’t require insanely expensive medications from the pharmacy. I tried a lot of those and they were nonsense.
My skin is great now and it has been for years. My answer was simple. Zinc. Hope this helps someone.
