What am I doing wrong here. Pilot with 5 stars in engineering (tried one with 3 stars in piloting). 173 crew with engineering all 3+ (many 4). 10 repair drones active.

Engine takes more than 1 hour to repair so far. I know I can go with my little laser, but why does repair crew and drones seem to do nothing?
