Hello

I wanted to get a head start on planning potential unit preferences for final consolidation . I am particularly interested in gaining experience in higher-acuity or complex care environments, as I find these areas more aligned with my learning goals compared to geriatrics, outpatient, long-term care, or pediatrics.

I understand that many critical care units require RN designation; however, I am hoping to explore units that still offer exposure to complex patients within the RPN scope of practice. I would really appreciate your guidance on which units particularly in GTA would be most appropriate for consolidation if my goal is to develop strong clinical skills and work with higher-complexity patients.

Additionally, I would be interested in placements that could potentially lead to future employment opportunities after graduation.
