25M, 60K/month, 0 Investment, seeking advice on how to start
Hi,
I am a software engineer with 2.5 YOE staying in a Bangalore PG. Approaching 26M earning 60K per month.
Background:
I was earning the same in my 1st company and had an increment to 85K. But had to resign
I had a 1.5-year career gap due to a family emergency
I settled with 1st opportunity to end my gap, and now at 60K/month. Planning to switch in 1 year.
Financial Status:
I haven't invested till now. I have 3.3L in my savings account.
My spending is around 25K / month, and I have 30 - 35K / month as savings
I am also afraid to invest a huge amount at the start without knowing what's and how's. That's the reason it is sitting in my savings account
I would like to start at medium risk and increase my risk appetite as I progress and feel comfortable
I am currently learning financial analysis from the Zerodha Varsity. Exploring personal finance but overwhelmed by the vast no of instruments like PPF, ETF, MF categories, etc
Need any advice/ suggestions on how to approach as a beginner, resources to look into, recommended ways to invest, or any career-wise advice
I feel lost starting late. Any ways to catch up? I have enthusiasm to learn trading & investment, but can't wait to acquire all the necessary knowledge, given the plethora of options
