Hi! I can't drive and taking lessons and the test at the moment is too expensive.

I have a new job and I can get overtime if I can travel to sites in other places like Castleford and Batley. Buses are useless, trains are sporadic, so I figure I'll go down the route of getting a moped/125cc.

I will hopefully get my license next week, then I'll be buying a bike.
The entire world of motorbikes is brand new to me. I feel like I know absolutely nothing. So I thought I'd come here to ask for local recommendations.

I prefer to visit brick-and-mortar places to see things in person, so:

• Where would you recommend buying a bike from in Leeds?

• Where would you recommend getting a helmet, protective wear, locks/theft prevention?

Also:

• What sort of things should I be doing to make sure my bike isn't stolen or striped for parts?

Absolutely any advice would be amazing. I'm a complete newbie to this
