

First Loaf with Bred Machine!
Hello! I recently got a Cuisinart CBK-210NAS bread machine; I've made bread by hand before but it's a very laborious process, so I decided to get a machine to make things easier. I just baked my first loaf (pictures attached); it was the two pound white sandwich bread, following the recipe in the owner's manual, on the medium crust setting. It came out really good and I'm quite impressed with this particular model! I use Gold Medal AP flour which has always worked well for me. One thing I did do was use a spatula to move some of the dry ingredients away from the corners as the initial kneading was taking place. Taking the paddle out before baking is very simple as the machine beeps and pauses for a moment to let you do this. There's a mix-in dispenser that opens up during kneading; I didn't have any mix-ins, and I just closed the dispenser door so it wouldn't interfere with rising.
