Hello,
Today my friend and i drove to point pleasant wv to go to the mothman museum. On our way out of town the gps told us to go the opposite way of which way we thought, we followed because what reason not too. About 30 minutes if that into the drive it tells us to turn down a road that doesn’t exist. We instead turn into a small ungated cemetery. When circling to get back on the road she sees a pile of feathers that looked dumped. I thought it odd as it looked almost like a whole bird but no blood or body. She picks some up and goes to look past the trees.
During these few minutes she is commenting on some of the headstones. Things like “look they died today” without a death date then “its their birthday” it wasn’t their birthday. When asking her later in the car she says she felt disoriented and detached a bit, because as i was speaking to her she says was not processing what i was saying. She says it felt like she “wasnt in a reality. Like in a dream”
In the moment I have a weird feeling in my stomach and follow a few moments after her, shes within feet of me but i have not gone up to the tree line. In the creek, she thinks it looks pretty and comments that she wants to take pictures to send to her dad. With that I’ve finished approaching and she looks s tartled and says the “person” ran off once i reached within what would have been its eyeline.
She says she heard a sound like something was moving. With th at she saw a barefooted, hairless, pale leg. It appeared to be wearing blue pants. They werent jeans, but a bright blue, and she doesn’t know if they were ripped or cut but she could see their calf. The leg she saw was clean and she noted it was odd how clean it was considering they were in the woods.
The feeling in my gut and the look on her face made me feel a need to tell her to throw all the feathers from the car when we were still in the cemetery. She at first didn’t want to but i made her. When i asked why she said that she both just wanted to keep the feathers because they were beautiful and because she felt a need to keep them.
We immediately then left when the feathers were placed back outside.
When driving out she confirmed no houses were where she saw the “person” and it was instead an open field where we would have for sure seen a person there. We continued toward the way gps was routing us minus the inexistent road. About a mile up we saw a historical marker and wanted to read it considering it was about Mark Twain and turned around to read it. After doing so we continued back the way that we originally thought we needed to go and later confirmed that was the case.
Still she comments that she doesn’t feel “normal or right”. I have personally never seen her like this. She says she is feeling out of it and an intense fatigue out of nowhere and honestly a bit sick.
I know there are lots of things in the Appalachian mountains, i was wondering if anyone had any insight on what this particular sighting may be?
