Hi!

I’m planning to propose to my boyfriend during our first trip to NYC and could really use some help with both finding a photographer and coming up with the best way to do it.

📅 Trip dates: June 26 (late arrival) – July 1 (morning departure)

Here’s what I have planned so far:

•	We’re going to the concert under the K Bridge on June 27 (also his birthday)

→ I’m not proposing that day

•	Pride festival/parade is June 28, which I’m considering

•	Also open to June 29 or June 30

I’m not set on a specific plan yet—I’m honestly looking for ideas that would make this moment special but still realistic on a budget.

Things I’m thinking about:

•	I at least want a photographer to capture the proposal (short session + a few photos after)

•	I want to dress nice for the proposal, but I’m conflicted since Pride outfits will probably be more colorful/fun—so I’m open to ideas on how to balance that

•	I’ve thought about doing something like a small flash mob if it’s during Pride and I can pull it off casually, but that’s still up in the air

I’d really appreciate:

•	Photographer recommendations (affordable or newer photographers welcome)

•	Proposal location ideas (West Village, quieter scenic spots, etc.)

•	Advice on timing (during Pride vs a separate day)

•	Any creative ideas that would make this memorable without being overly complicated
