I've been building a crypto portfolio tracker solo — it's finally live on Android — here's what I built and why

I've been building Stakr for the past several months. It's a crypto portfolio tracker but it's more than just a price checker — it covers the stuff most crypto apps ignore or do badly.

What I built and why:

Live P&L Dashboard — because most trackers show you your portfolio value but not how you're actually performing right now. Stakr updates every 60 seconds and shows today, yesterday and weekly performance at a glance.

What If? Simulator — because every crypto investor has wondered "what if Bitcoin hits $200k?" Drag sliders to model any price scenario and see exactly what your portfolio would be worth.

AI Portfolio Analyst (Pro) — an assistant that actually knows your holdings. Ask it "am I too concentrated in one coin?" and it answers based on your real numbers, not generic advice.

Privacy mode — because not everyone needs to see your portfolio value over your shoulder. One tap hides everything instantly. No account required, no data collection, everything stays on your device.

Stakr Points — earn points for daily logins, referrals and milestones. Redeem them for free Pro time on top of your subscription.

Android app is live on Google Play. iOS coming when revenue allows.

Spent about 8 months building a crypto portfolio tracker as a solo dev.

Just shipped it to Google Play last month. The hardest part wasn't the code, it was figuring out what to actually build. Every existing app either does too much (full exchange integrations, trading, margin) or too little (just shows prices). I wanted something in between. Clean, fast, privacy-first. No account, no data collection, everything stays on device. Just crossed 13 downloads. Small number but real people using something I built from scratch which still feels surreal. If anyone's building in the crypto/fintech space I'm happy to swap notes. And if you're curious what I built, it's called Stakr, on Google Play.

Genuine question.

Genuine question. how many of you actually analyze your portfolio vs just tracking price? Like not just "BTC is up 3% today" but actually understanding your exposure, what a 30% market drop does to your specific holdings, whether you're overconcentrated in one sector. I built a small tool for myself to do this because I couldn't find anything that wasn't either a full trading terminal or a basic price tracker. Happy to share if anyone's interested, not trying to promote anything, just curious if this is a gap others feel too.
