Got accepted into PhD kinesiology at GSU
Hi, I got accepted into the exercise physiology program at GSU but wasn’t offered the fellowship I applied for to fund my education. However, I’m told I can get a tuition waiver by teaching two sections of Anatomy & physiology lab and receive a small stipend. Does anyone know anything about the program at GSU and what “Small stipend” is in $? Will the ‘’small stipend’’ carter for housing, health insurance, and food, at least? How far out can I live from campus on the small stipend? My advisor currently has no grant funding but promised to include me on subsequent grant application, and also he said I might be able to teach as an instructor of record after completing a semester or get a GA from lRB and Biosafety office. What advice would you give me generally?
