Double J on Instagram: "Aussie garage rock royalty Eddy Current Suppression Ring have announced their first Sydney performance in more than 15 years.

Following a rave reception to their performance at Melbourne’s Federation Square last year, the band will headline Tumbalong Nights - a free show and fresh addition to Vivid Sydney’s live 2026 program.

Taking place at Tumbalong Park on Friday 12 June, with support from Ethiopia-via-Melbourne act Chikchika, Eddy Current will showcase the raw intensity that has made them one of Australia’s most revered live acts and cult heroes.

It’s a rare chance to catch the band outside of Victoria, having played just a handful of gigs in the past decade and reactivating last year with the release of Shapes and Forms, their first new music since 2019’s All In Good Time."
