Medieval Shepherd- 100yearGames - A shepherd simulation game at medieval times

Hi everyone,

My friend and I are university students, and we’ve been working really hard to realize our dream of making a game. Medieval Shepherd is a medieval simulation game where you live the life of a shepherd in the Middle Ages. You’ll be herding your flock with your loyal dog, protecting them from wild animals or bandits, and trying to grow your business in a living economy.

In this trailer, we wanted to show specific mechanics in each scene. It turned out a bit more cinematic and "vibe" focused than we originally planned, but here is how the scenes translate to actual gameplay:

  • The house garden: This is your base, and you can upgrade/expand it.
  • The sunrise walk: Showing the herding mechanics.
  • Waking up to wolf howls: You'll need to protect the flock (and yes, there will be combat with bows/arrows).
  • The castle and market: This is the trade and economy part of the game.

All these elements together form the core gameplay loop.

If you’d like to support us, it would mean a lot if you could add it to your Wishlist: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4608330/Medieval_Shepherd/

We are planning to release the game on 2026 Q3 on steam.

We’re looking forward to hearing all your thoughts and feedback!

Note: We know the head bobbing is a bit too much in the trailer, but we are fixing that as soon as we can.

After 6 months of work, my friend and I finally opened the Steam page for our first game. Here is the trailer!

Hi everyone! We are two university students working on our first game, Medieval Shepherd.

It's a realistic pastoral simulation where we focused heavily on flock behavior and the medieval atmosphere. We’ve just reached a huge milestone by opening our Steam page and releasing this trailer.

Being new to the industry, we’d love to hear your feedback on the visuals and the overall 'vibe' of the game. Love to hear your opinions.
