My partner and I are coming in June and staying at the Napa Marriott. It's our first time and maybe our only time. We are celebrating a special milestone. I am our travel agent/cruise director on trips, a role I enjoy.

I don't drink (I'm in it for the hiking, scenery, and food) so we have a reliable DD. However, that also means I need winery advice. Partner loves good wine, especially complex reds and crisp, unoaked whites.

We have dinner reservations for the first two days; trying for the third when stuff opens today. Three-day trip looks like this:

ARRIVAL DAY - get in via rental car from SFO, dinner at Scala

DAY 1 - NAPA

Early morning hike at Skyline Wilderness
Breakfast/brunch in Napa (recommendations?) - walk around town
Wine touring - friends recommended Palmaz - maybe another 1/2 in that area?
Relax at hotel before dinner
Dinner - Bear at Stanly Ranch

DAY 2 - CALISTOGA

Early morning hike at Petrified Forest
Breakfast/brunch at Sam's General Store and check out the town (Sharpsteen Museum?)
Wine touring - Clos Pegase? Elusa?
Spa services at hotel
Dinner - Bistro Jeanty

DAY 3 - ST. HELENA/YOUNTVILLE

Early morning hike at Linda Falls
Breakfast/brunch (recommendations?) - walk around town
Wine touring - Del Dotto? Frog's Leap? Inglenook? Mumm?
Pool and such at hotel
Dinner - hopefully French Laundry (fingers crossed)

Would love others' thoughts - thanks in advance!
