Covergirls Universe Trading Cards - Maxim and Stuff magazine on cards

Hey everyone — I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on for a while and get some feedback.

I’m launching a collectible card series called **Covergirls Universe**, and I just put up the Kickstarter pre-launch page.

The idea is to create a premium, collector-focused card set built around high-end, editorial-style visuals rather than gameplay. It’s more about the collecting experience — rarity tiers, pack openings, and building a full set.

The structure so far:

* **Set 00 (Promo Archive):** Kickstarter-exclusive promo cards across all rarity levels

* **Set 01:** 25 models, ~300-card base set, plus rarer chase cards

* Packs have 14 cards (commons, uncommons, rares, holo, inserts, etc.)

I’ve also built out a 5-team system (Crimson, Azure, Onyx, Verdant, Pearl) to give the set some identity and consistency.

Long-term, if this does well, I’d like to evolve into using real models and eventually explore licensed collaborations — but right now I’m focused on making Set 01 as strong as possible.

Would really appreciate any thoughts on:

* The concept itself

* Collectability vs gameplay (I chose no gameplay)

* Rarity system / pack structure

* Anything that feels off or missing

Here’s the pre-launch page if you want to check it out:

Thanks in advance — happy to answer any questions or go deeper on anything.
