I miss him.
Every few months or so, I always get this urge to binge watch ALOT of Technoblade content over the span of like a few weeks to a few months (I’m in that phase yet again rn). The content includes stuff like his Hypixel survival games, Minecraft story mode streams, all the way to the DreamSmp stuff. And then it ALWAYS hits me that, “goddamn, Techno himself won’t upload anymore.” and I miss him so much for it.
He was one of the very first Minecraft youtubers I ever watched. I found him when I was searching for bedwars content because I found some youtuber at the time doing some bedwars challenge and I wanted more. I still remember my first video watching being one of his Bedwars winstreak videos with Hasco, Jinn, iWacky and his stacked Bedwars party at the time when I was like 8-9 years old. My tiny child brain at the time just stuck around because “haha pig man kill kids funny”. Ofcourse, I also experienced his HORRID upload schedule where I remembered sitting through December and January with his last video being Hytale and the Skywars challenges video and I was ECSTATIC to have received a new Techno video in my notification ONLY FOR IT TO BE A YOUTUBE COMMUNITY NOTICE VIDEO, HEH?
Looking back at it, Techno’s content influenced me by a ton. Hearing him narrate his stories about soap boxes and a french parent dropkicking him has, weirdly enough, helped my linguistics skills develop which allowed me to breeze through essays later on in my High-school years and undoubtedly will serve me quite well as an upcoming University student later this year.
He also gave me the motivation to go through my darkest hours with his words echoing in my mind, “Skyblock teaches us that no matter how insurmountable the odds may seem, you can create a world of your very own. And one day, you look back at where you started and be amazed by how far you’ve come.”
Anyway, I’m done with my ramblings, you can share whatever Techno memory you have down there. Also, thank you to Technodad for keeping Alex’s spirit alive down to the upload schedule. TECHNO’S HUMOR REALLY DID COME FROM SOMEWHERE.
