[PAID] Looking for Dark Fantasy Comic Artist / Test Page Collaboration
Hi all,
I’m developing a dark fantasy graphic novel project and looking to commission a paid experimental test page or short sequence, with the possibility of longer-term collaboration if the style and storytelling fit well.
The project is very atmosphere-focused and grounded. I’m aiming for strong visual storytelling, restrained dialogue, emotional ambiguity, and a darker mythic tone rather than superhero-style action.
Major influences are Berserk, Savage Sword of Conan, Heavy Metal magazine, Frazetta, and Mignola-style shadow/composition work.
I’m especially interested in artists who are strong with:
sequential storytelling, page composition and pacing, mood and environmental atmosphere, readable silhouettes and emotional acting..
At this stage I’m mainly exploring grayscale/inked pages rather than fully painted color work, though that may evolve later.
The initial commission would just be a single test page or short scene. This is a paid commission and I’d be looking for exclusive commercial usage rights while the artist still retains portfolio/display rights.
