Question on a need to see episode again 😄

Which episode is it when Crow's head basket accidentally falls off during a movie and they just keep going with it? I wanna watch that episode again and that moment cracks me up 😆

Okay we got a second sequel that had nothing to do with the previous installments. The Crow: Salvation. Some love it. Some hate it. I am a big fan of the movie. But knowing that City Of Angels was linked to the original, Salvation had the potential to do the same with City Of Angels, and that is from the little girl Grace in COA.

Ashe tells her "you have power just like I do." And that could've been a foreshadowing, especially the way he looks at her when he leaves. Like he knows something tragic will happen to her. Plus she ended up getting Gabrielle at the end who was given to her by Ashe. Salvation could've been a movie about an older Grace and the installment would've been Eric and Ashe related. And it wouldn't have you questioning "why the same or similar crow face paint?" Grace would've used it from remembering Ashe because she realized who he was. I dunno why the studios don't think about doing stuff that makes sense. In my opinion it's just wasted great opportunities to keep a franchise flowing in the right direction.

A "what if?" visual. The original idea for the 1996 sequel was to make Sarah the next Crow, but it sadly never happened. In my opinion this would've been a smart move and we would've had a badass female lead.

Title says it all basically. My 2500HD transmission is out and there's an NV4500 manual transmission I can obtain for free, but... I'm pretty low on the knowledge of the transmission department of vehicles. I'm an engine guy lol. Anyway I understand this is a heavy duty transmission. Plus I'd love to be shifting gears again.

Would this work? If so, what mods would I be looking at? And finally is it worth doing?

I see many are biased into saying they love this fan film because they were involved in it. So hopefully any of them have nothing to say here. This goes out to the real fans of The Crow, it's sequels and the 2022 'Crow' fan film.

I didn't have high hopes for this one because it's previews gave nothing new and too much familiarity, but decided to give it a try anyway.

DOS just didn't pull me in at all. Almost made it halfway through and gave up. It felt more like 'Days of Sodomy'. It just drags and many scenes are unnecessarily long. You're watching it and thinking "cut!... okay print that... oh FFS!"

I just cannot understand what Thorn is saying most of the time, especially with the music drowning out his dialog and his Nolan Batman-esque voice which adds to the annoyance and frustration.

Yes it's not for everyone, but I've been a hardcore Crow fan for 32 years, including the sequels. Never been big on 'Wicked Prayer', but after watching the god awful 2024 remake, I learned to appreciate that 4th installment. Viewing this did it again and I hadn't even finished watching it (and won't.)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did Lionsgate want to release this officially? But because they wanted to shorten it (and likely edit it properly) Lionsgate were turned down and the decision was to post this 'as-is' on YouTube for free? What a really dumb and wasted opportunity. I wouldn't be surprised if the real reason was that Lionsgate just rejected the movie for the same reasons I didn't like it. I'm sure they weren't truly happy with the results of the remake, but they had already invested in it and was stuck with the disaster. This freebie was too easy to dismiss obviously.

The feature isn't something we all haven't seen before. Take 'Salvation' for example. Corrupt cops are the bad guys, the chief is the main villain (in this case it's the Major, but doesn't change the concept much) and Thorn looks too much like Eric from the original. The make up and overall look is too Eric wannabe. Many shots even recreate the original's character: in front of a broken mirror in a dark, similar atmosphere before getting very similarly dressed up and catching a knife thrown at him.

Fans have wanted a female protagonist for ages now and that was a failure here for a fan made film. I was disappointed that the 2022 fan made 'Crow' didn't use a female crow, but I appreciated the original look of that character and that movie I have viewed a number of times because it's pretty original, well written, decently made and runs at a usual running time. Sure it has it's flaws, but it thrashes Wicked Prayer and the remake.

On the subject of 2022's Crow, this fan made film also uses the expectant father protagonist too. Once again an unoriginal example. The makers of DOS definitely saw this and thought they could thrash it.

The only thing I enjoyed was seeing the great villain actor Vernon Wells in it. His acting was top notch and he always portrays a great baddie. In this he was very dark and brutal. But unfortunately his talent was criminally wasted among the awfully untalented among him.
