The only thing I didn't like about the Part 6 anime adaptation is that they didn't give Jolyne's mom an official name

It was already kinda weird and dumb that Araki didn't give her an official name to begin with, but David Production had the opportunity to do so like they did a few times in the past, but they still said no 😔

With Abel's recent change to HUT's cover on streaming platforms, a lot of fans online have been debating which one is better: the First Pressing cover or the Complete Edition cover (with most people leaning toward the former). But honestly, I think both are equally strong for different reasons, and that's exactly what frustrates me a bit, because it makes me feel like neither one should've been the final choice.

On one hand, the FP cover continues the close-up portrait style of the trilogy, so it naturally aligns with the covers from the other installments. But at the same time, I don't think it really conveys the concept of the album itself. I get that Abel's look matches with his character from the HUT movie, but visually it comes across a bit too plain. So, while it technically fits within the trilogy because it's a portrait of him, it still contrasts with the other covers, since those actually reflect the themes of their respective albums more clearly (like After Hours with the red suit and the blood, or Dawn FM with him as an older man).

On the other hand, I think the CE cover does an amazing job at capturing the album's feeling and overall theme, especially with an intense close-up of Abel's face screaming in pain. The issue is that it doesn't really match the visual identity established by the rest of the trilogy, since it moves away from that more composed, character-based portrait style.

I guess what I really wish is that we had gotten a cover that combined both approaches: something that keeps the portrait format so it fits in with the trilogy, but also represents the album's concept and emotional weight. I think a cool idea would've been a close-up of Abel wearing his Ethiopian Kaba, since that was Abel's main outfit of the HUT era and such a defining look for the album's visual aesthetic.
