Date a live or date a bullet?

Objectively speaking, which work do you think is better in terms of writing: Date A Bullet or Date A Live? (I'm only talking about the light novels.)

For a moment, let's put aside any favoritism towards Kurumi and be completely honest.

In my opinion, Date A Bullet has that "something" that hooked me more: its characters, the story, and the world-building. Obviously, I still love Date A Live, but I feel its development is slower. When reading DAB, I felt an improvement in both the narrative and the way the story unfolds.

Of course, this is all from my perspective, so I'd also like to read more opinions on the matter.

I didn't want to include Magic Detective Kurumi Tokisaki's Case Files because the series is still ongoing, so I think it's too early to give a definitive opinion.

I noticed that this illustration features all the main characters Tachibana has written about in his various works over the years. However, he always puts Tohka instead of Shido, and it's not the first time. He's also one of the faces of Kadokawa, and on anniversaries, he doesn't even seem interested in talking about Shido. He always focuses more on Tohka or Mio. The last time he posted anything was when he put Shiori as the cover photo on his X profile, where, surprise surprise, he doesn't post or repost anything about Shido either, which makes me think that maybe he hates him.
