On Monday evening I started to crawl out of my skin. I was having allergies. I had been working in a dusty warehouse for the past few weeks. And then my neighbors decided to cut back a ton of their shrubs and trees and boy did it hit me. Went to bed and when I woke up Tuesday my skin was still crawling, but the aches were starting, and the migraine. Jesus. One of the worse cluster migraines I’ve ever had. Thought I was going to go to the ER. Stayed in bed until 2ish, then it finally started to ease. Stood up and the aches just went full fire. I felt so heavy. And my hips started to burn and shoot to every finger and toe. Wednesday I woke up and was in tears. The pain was really flared up. And the fatigue was drowning me. I took my gabapentin and Cymbalta and it eased the shooting pain thankfully. But my hips just kept going. Sigh. I don’t know how people live with it. I have a full spinal fusion from having scoliosis and thought I had a high pain tolerance because of it, but no. Every-time I have a flare up it really humbles me. I was diagnosed with fibro last year. Still learning to manage. It really just hits you like a truck. Today has been better. Was able to take a short walk around my block get some blood moving to my back. It gets really stiff if I sit too long. Gabapentin definitely made me walk with a tilt too! Hugs to everyone living with this.
