My mil and mother are constantly telling me to put the baby in the crib because I'll regret it later on, I do place him on a gym mat and give him tummy time but he likes sleeping in my arms.

Baby is 7 weeks old, almost 2 months.

Is carrying my baby around in my arms or letting him sleep there creating a bad habit?

Every time I ask "what will happen later?" They have no answer, but I've never seen an 18 yr old wanting his mom to hold him, so I'm guessing not much.
