In Chicagoland for a wedding. Drove through Louisville on the way and picked up this 200ml peerless small batch. I’ve mainly been drinking peated stuff and ryes recently, but I saw this and decided to give it a try. It’s very sweet with leather, caramel, browned butter and tobacco. I stopped into Up Down Cigars in the city and they had some house cigars that they aged in Goode Island stout barrels. Absolutely delicious, lots of dark sweet chocolate with honey and black pepper.
