Leak from soil stack pipe?
There is a dripping noise in the ceiling near the soil stack pipe (SSP - circled) whenever we use the tap or shower in the bathroom. I've noticed it for 2 weeks now. At first I thought it was thermal expansion noise but the mouldy patch in the ceiling (circled) felt damp to the touch after my shower this morning, whereas the rest of the ceiling felt dry. The patch looks worse in real life. If it was mould from shower humidity I imagine it wouldn't be contained to one spot too. I'm wondering how this is happening because above the bathroom is just a flat roof with the SSP coming out of it (which doesn't have a guard on, it's just open if that makes a difference). Any advice or ideas what/how this is happening?
