Hey I have a question. XOM ex-dividend date is May 15th. Let's say I sell the $150 puts that expire then and get assigned on Friday, May 15th. Would that still qualify me for the dividend since it's technically assigned on the day as the ex-dividend date? Just curious. Why not get paid some premium if I want to own the stock anyway.
