Short yet highly engaging novel (or short stories) for the end of the year.
We have about 10 days left and state testing is over. We won't have computers for a handful of days. Id like to spend about 20 to 30 minutes each day doing read aloud with my 6th graders.
We read A Long Walk to Water and they absolutely loved it. Looking for something equally engaging, yet possibly picked over (by kids) stories. My goal is to make them crave a good story or two.
Thanks!
