I noticed a large bump on my dog after a walk on Thursday. I go to ER and Dr. Says it is possibly a mast cell tumor. No testing was done and she recommended i go to my primary care vet to get it tested. It felt hard. The bump has grown the last few days and today my dog ruptured the bump by knawing. The fluid coming out of it is red like fluid. I drained most of the fluid and I have just put a cone collar on her. I did schedule an appointment which was initially a month out but now got shortened to Wednesday. I am thinking about scheduling a different appointment with a new Vet for tomorrow since the wound is now open. My dog had no appetite for breakfast. She just seems like in pain but she is still stable.
