I just released a free Chrome extension called ByEar.
It is a practice tool for musicians who learn by ear. It lets you slow down videos, change pitch, add markers, loop sections, and jump between important timestamps directly on supported media pages like YouTube, YouTube Music, and Apple Music Web.
I built it for practicing solos, transcribing songs, marking lessons, looping difficult phrases, and generally making browser-based music practice easier.
It is still early, so I would really appreciate feedback, bug reports, or ideas from musicians and learners.
I did this extension out of love for music and wanting to help, there are no in app purchases and the code is totally open source in case you want to check it.
