Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on a foam board P-51 Mustang and I’ve hit a bit of a wall. I need the wing to be detachable for easier transport in my car and for quick repairs, but I’m not sure what the best method is for this specific airframe.
On my previous high-wing trainer, I used the classic rubber band method, but I definitely don't want to go that route for this P-51. I'm looking for something a bit cleaner.
Could you guys share some photos or descriptions of how you attach your wings? I’m looking for some creative ideas—whether it's a bolt-on system, magnets, or some kind of internal latch that works well with foam board.
I really need some inspiration to get this bird in the air! Thanks in advance for the help.
