I frequently hear how waterproof mascaras use PFAs and toxic ingredients to make their mascaras waterproof. If this is the case, how are waterproof mascaras supposed to work if they don't use these toxic ingredients? Are there any non-toxic/PFA-free waterproof mascaras on the market? I understand they can also damage eyelashes due to the fact that the formulas are generally more drying and difficult to remove, thus causing breakage via harsh scrubbing, but I'm looking for a waterproof mascara I can just wear occasionally for going swimming this summer. If anyone has any recommendations or information on the topic that'd be super helpful! Thank you in advance for any input :)
