I made a post about this months ago, and it’s still happening. If you still have cable and watch TeenNick, you’ve probably noticed it airs The Loud House and Henry Danger nonstop—every day—with no other shows or movies in the schedule.
I wish they’d bring back classic programming. In April, they briefly returned iCarly for about two weeks, then removed it again. I understand cable is declining and it’s cheaper to run constant reruns of just a couple shows, but it’s frustrating. People suggest switching to Paramount+, but I don’t like streaming—I prefer watching whatever is scheduled on live TV.
Even Pluto TV does a better job than the main Nickelodeon channels. It includes shows like iCarly, The Fairly OddParents, Sam & Cat, and Drake & Josh, with occasional Zoey 101 and Victorious. However, it’s still not true programming since each channel runs the same show for hours at a time, and the best content often airs overnight.
I’d even be happy if TeenNick aired older SpongeBob SquarePants episodes (seasons 1–9). They’ve done that before, including in 2024. While Nicktoons plays SpongeBob frequently, I don’t enjoy the newer episodes.
What’s especially confusing is that in 2025 they briefly brought back shows like Sam & Cat, Victorious, iCarly, The Fairly OddParents, Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, and even The Thundermans, only to remove them again after a short time. It feels inconsistent—and makes it seem like they’re pushing viewers toward Paramount+.
