This is the longest shot I have ever shot!
I am looking for a film that I have literally the smallest memory over.
It could have been late 90's/early 00's. It doesn't have too many known actors in it that were in their hey day back then but was centred around a bunch of college kids (think Freddie PJ, Ryan Phillipe etc).
I did think Josh Harnett was in it but I have chexked his filmography and it's not him and it's not The Faculty)
Anyway, all I can remember is the main guy (who I thought was JH) is at the top of the stairs and the stairs run into a big lounge area and there is a big plot twist and he is wearing a black coat (I think it had Red in the inside)
I also remember a scene with a new girl moving into a dorm and either her or her room mate are suspected of something. The new girl goes back to her dorm and there is yellow police tape on the door and people think it's her or something like that.
It's not Urban Legend. It's something along those lines of teenager thrillers, I know what you did last summer etc.
