Routine critique
Never been serious about the gym or working out. My workout partner has concerns that we're doing too much but I feel good. Just looking for some feedback.
Doing everything at 3x5-10 depending on fatigue. Going up in weight every 1 or 2 weeks depending on when all three sets reach 10 reps for both of us.
Training 5 days a week with two back to back rest days.
We both have jobs that aren't physically demanding but keep us on our feet for 12-18k steps a day working 4 days a week and plan on the rest days to walk 20k steps each day.
Exercises:
Bench press
Preacher curl
Lat pull down
Tricep pushdown
Hack squat
Leg press
Calf raises
I get at some point we will need to rotate out to address other muscle groups but we're three days in and other than the muscle soreness I don't feel anything concerning.
# wise for the lifts I cut I cut about 1/3 off of our 1 rep maxes.
Not sure what the target end goal is other than to get healthier and drop some extra weight.
