I'll be attending a San Diego 4-year institution this upcoming Fall 2026 semester as a Junior transfer student. I'm also extremely interested in possibly joining the ROTC, or considering going to law school then into JAGC (end goal).

Is it possible to still join ROTC as a Junior?

Would it be more competitive as a Junior to receive a 2-year scholarship throughout the program?

If I consider ROTC, in addition to FLEP (Funded Legal Education Program) are there other opportunities where the Army will actually pay for my law school?

I'd really appreciate all the information I can get! I tried doing my own research but they either came up empty handed, or people provide contradicting information.
