Recruitment Agencies (Share those red flags)

I’ve been job hunting for close to two years now. Was shortlisted for some interviews back in 2025, but never even got close to an offer. At this point, it just feels like you’re either “too experienced” for some roles or not experienced enough for others. Feels like no matter what you do, you’re never the right fit.

Honestly, I’m exhausted. I’m also sick of recruiters reaching out just to ignore you after you reply. Some even have the cheek to contact you months, or more than a year, later asking if you’re still looking for opportunities or interested in some role, only to ghost you again afterwards.

I really feel like ignoring them sometimes, but this isn’t an employee’s market right now. Beggars can’t be choosers.

Some agencies post nonstop on LinkedIn (like Evo\*uti\*n SG), but honestly a lot of those listings feel like ghost postings. I’ve also had my fair share of bad experiences with recruiters from agencies like Tr\*ni\*y Consulting and Ad\*c\*o SG, just to name a few.

Please share any walking red flags or bad experiences to help out fellow HUNGRY jobseekers here, so we don’t keep wasting our time and effort on these agencies anymore. Of course, everyone’s experience may differ. Some people may have had good experiences with these agencies, but unfortunately mine haven’t been great. Some of these recruiters really make an already exhausting job search even worse.
