Hello! This is my first reddit post (because i need to submit my SIR by may 1 and still dont know....)

I am stuck between UCI (which i got regents for as a poly sci major) and UCLA political science

I am interested in UCLA and their justicorps program & mock trial team (which is very hard to get on) but the 41k a year is a lot financially for my family

For UCI, I would commute (which saves around 20k in dorming, but also commuting im scared will make it harder for me to feel more integrated into the campus & make friends & have that "typical" college experience with dormmates) so in total for UCI I would pay about 10k a year which is good financially

I dont knoww what to choose tho

Advice?? PLS

also priority registration is important to me and uci regents & ucla do not include those perks (uci regents got rid of their priority registration perks in 2023)
