Season 9 shouldn't have happened
Actually, i've always thought that after season six, the show was really jumping the shark. But after the whole james miracle from the end of season eight , i was thinking, oh come on enough is enough. So now we have season 9 , no charles or caroline, just an explanation that times were tough, and they had to move. There's a really cringy good bye scene in the first episode and we now have the equally irritating and useless carter family.
Landon is now making everything up since he's run out of material from the little house books. The plots are really threadbare and the acting is even worse. Especially by the actress playing Mrs Carter. Besides the fact she couldn't act her way out of a paper bag.Her character is written as such a insensitive uncaring person when it comes to her kids and the actor playing her husband is merely chewing scenery. The characters of laura and almanzo are pretty boring too. It's still just creepy to see them. It's like a grown man with a child. It just doesn't translate well. The rest of the cast, literally, just phones it in and chews the scenery. Like victor french is totally wasted. And wasn't it really time to get rid of reverend alden and doc baker. 3 movies follwed that were disappointing and it seemed that landon didnt know when to quit.
