help pls is this dry socket and pus. I’m in pain
hi everyone. so I got my tooth extracted on Monday at around 11:30 am it is currently Thursday 2:33 am so it hasn’t been three full days yet. This is how my tooth looks and it hurts. I think it’s slightly red bc I accidentally bumped my mouth twice but idk I want to know if it looks normal and is not dry socket. I also have a pus below my gum on my tooth (from infection) what should I do? Will a numbing gel be fine. Pain is like an 8/10 it hurts like a toothache. Sorry the quality images aren’t the best any advice is appreciated. Edit: I’m 19F and background history I first got a fill in on this tooth but then it fell off and they recommended a root canal but couldn’t do a crown on it so eventually had to get an extraction
