I'm an independent artist who has been really trying to build a presence on social media and make active efforts to grow my fans. Recently I've been getting a lot of targeted ads about playlist placement services. GPM Music Group, bernthofficial, Boost Collective, Indie Music Academy, etc.
I've previously been scammed by another playlist placement service, and had my music taken down from all streaming services due to bot streams. I now have all my music back up thankfully, and want to promote my music, but don't want to be scammed again.
GPM Music Group and Indie Music Academy look like the most legitimate services, talking about how they have proven results and testimonials, you only pay if they can place your music, they warn about bot playlists and give advice to artists on how to avoid those, etc.
Anyways, does anyone have any advice or experience with either of these services? If so, can you share some results and how the experience was overall? I just really don't want to be a victim of another scam playlisting service.
