I was going to do a short program in Denmark for 2 weeks and was super exited. I missed a meeting on Monday and emailed the organizer to ask if I could make it up and she said no and that I would no longer be able to participate. I don't know how I forgot that the meeting was happening that day but I was having a very busy chaotic weekend and a midterm and project I needed to finish on Monday so I guess that was how. I tried to explain this in the email but to no avail. It didn't even seem like they did anything that important in the meeting besides go over the itinerary and walk around this spot we were going to work on a project at. I went to the first meeting. I'm just super upset about this. It was going to be all expenses paid too. It seems like I had this incredible opportunity in my hands and I let it slip through my fingers for such a dumb mistake.
