Sony finally made an enthusiast phone again?

The new Xperia flagship honestly looks insane on paper.

• 6.5" FHD+ 120Hz OLED
• Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
• 16GB RAM + 1TB storage
• microSD support up to 2TB
• 3.5mm headphone jack
• Dual front stereo speakers
• Android 16
• Triple 50MP camera setup

What surprised me most is Sony still keeping features other brands killed years ago. Expandable storage + headphone jack on a premium flagship in 2026 feels rare now.

That telephoto macro sensor also sounds huge compared to most phones.

Only downside is the price starting at €1499 😭

Would you actually buy an Xperia over Samsung, Pixel, or iPhone?
