I'm planning on moving to Denmark as an international student. I know how hard it is to find housing and as many people, I also plan to pay the rent with (the) SU.

However, as far as I know to be eligable for it, or any kind of financial aid, I need to have a job. My danish is non existent, but I'm fluent in english and willing to do litearly anything.

I read it usually takes 1-3 months of active searching to get one, but not so long ago a friend of mine from Finnland said I shouldn't expect to get one in an Scandinavian countries, if I'm not fluent in their language. I found that hardly beliveable, as there are many jobs which requires little to no knowledge, but it's beginning to worry me, hence I'm writing this post.

Please be honest, and any tip or advice will be appreciated.

Edit: I am from an EU country
