Second Casio, First f91w!
So, I hadn't gotten a watch for myself in the longest and decided to get one only upon hitting a milestone I had set for myself - clearing the Step 1 of USMLE (for those who didn't know, it's the medical licensing exam to get to practise in the US).I gifted myself the Casio Enticer Analog watch in the Silver-Gold colour ( LTP-V007SG-9EUDF (A2294)).Beautiful watch I must say!
Somewhere along the way, it became a little tradition in my head- one watch for every milestone I achieve.
Fast forward to now, I've cleared the final year of my undergrad medical degree and EARNED the 'Doctor' title! So this time around, I decided to gift myself the f91wb minimalist in black and boyyy is he beautiful <3(idk this one's a he to me hehee).
Life hasn't been all roses for me in a while now. While trying to see through things and not, this is a part of me growing, for myself this time as I've been someone who never quite took the time to appreciate myself for the things I manage to pull through. So these to me are more than JUST watches - they’re quiet little reminders of my achievements. My own way of celebrating myself - credit where it's due. A silent pat on the back for how far I’ve come, in spite of everything. 🧿
