Hey guys, M(25) here, I'm a Captain in the army and I have been serving for 5 years, 8 including training. But this job is not suiting me for some time now. For context every month I get 35k bdt salary in total in my bank account out of which 15k is for the Messbill(mandatory), 5k is for different mandatory subscriptions such as Barber, Laundry etc, 5k is spent for different maintaince purposes such as Buying bootpolish, metal polish for ranks and other stuff. In the end I'm left with 2-3k per month and sometimes even negetive balance. Now this all would've been justified if there was job satisfaction but no. Everday PT starts at 0500 and office ends at 1800 but that's just the prescribed schedule, in reality by the time I get to room its 2100hrs at least. Then at Friday and Saturday, theres unofficial office in the morning and we have to play cricket or football with our seniors even if I just wanna stay at room. There is nothing called personal time. I had a breakup with my girlfriend because I could rarely talk to her.
Now to my current state, I am a very freedom loving guy and I dont want to regret in my mid 30's about why I chose to stay. I'm very good in Academics, had an IELTS score of 8.2 before joining, I have completed my graduation in IR with CGPA 3.5+. I completed PGDHRM from BIMS and CAPM from PMI.
Now Im here for suggestions from you guys. What job roles and salary bracket should I aim for?
