I’m on 7.5. I took my last shot April 28th. Because of the way my insurance works I can’t get a refill until May 29th. I have one 5mg pen and one 7.5. What would be the best way to spread out the shots to make it that long? These are the single-dose pens that can’t be adjusted.
I was due to go up to 7.5 but when I did, the diarrhea and vomiting was a nightmare, with constipation in between. I went back down to 5, but by then my employer had switched insurance companies, and for some reason I got a 3 month supply instead of the usual 1 month. I didn’t have side effects when I went back to 5, but then it completely stopped suppressing appetite. In fact, I was hungrier than I’ve ever been. Frighteningly, painfully ravenous. I switched to dosing every 5 days and it was amazing. Consistent suppression with zero side effects. It’s almost like it’s meant to be taken every 5 days! But I really didn’t think it all the way through because now I’ve almost used up my stash and can’t get more until the end of the month.
I’d love to know if anyone has been through this and what survival strategies you’d recommend.
