Please help, I'm unable to add members to my Family plan nor sign into Apple ID.
Hi, so I upgraded my Apple Music subscription from Individual to Family plan and want to add my family members to it but I'm unable to do so from the Android app.
I go to Account > Add Family Members > it prompts for password and after I enter it, nothing happens, it just stays on the same page.
I'm unable to login to my Apple ID either via website, I can get through the email & password login > email verification code > it asks to enter phone number > enter OTP received on phone number. But here is where I run into an issue - it says "An unknown error has occured".
For context, I use ProtonMail and signed up using a @passfwd.com email alias when signing up for Apple Music. I think this is the mistake I made.
I'm guessing it's unable to sign in due to Apple not trusting the passfwd.com alias domain. Now to solve this I need to login to my account to change the email address to something like gmail. BUT THE THING IS IT DOESN'T EVEN LET ME LOG IN!!!
I tried logging in to my apple account using an old iPad I had but I ran into the same issue after getting to the phone number OTP verification part and it says unknown error.
I'm stuck now, what do I do??
