Dashboard christmas tree

video

I replaced the battery like couple weeks ago, pretty much brand new. This just happening out of nowhere today in the morning, should I try loosing and tightening up the battery terminal again? Also u think I can drive on the road for a bit? I mean I did in fact, nothing went wrong on the road. But obviously not feeling that great with them lights flickering like that.

Light flickering on dashboard

It's 2016 Hyundai Tucson, had an issue where a lot more lights were displayed out of nowhere and disappeared couple days later. Today when I started, that ABS and parking brake lights are keep flickering while the other two remain in place.

When the guy from shop came over to look before (when all the lights were on for no reason), he checked several parts and said no problem at all. I kinda drove the car for a bit and honestly there wasn't any problem on the road, what seems to be the problem?

Having tough time in Electrical engineering, dropping out?

I'm currently in 2nd year electrical engineering, just completed my 2025/26 year but still gotta do 2nd year courses next term as I dropped course loads to go easy. Even with dealing with 3 courses, I had tough time throughout the semester, ending with Cs and one B-.

I'm honestly doubting if this is the right path for my future. I don't even know why I chose EE frankly, stuff I learn like circuits, breadboard, Kicad, CAD design, coding, all these things are literally not fascinating at all, and having hard time catching up of course.

But it's not like I'm having a great social life, either. I'm in summer break right now, barely have any people to hang out with.

So to summarize, horrible grades, bad social life, while collecting student loan debts every year and spending my 20s real bad. Is this really a path I should stuck with? I'm keep doubting about this every night before bed.

Some might ask me, "What's the plan after dropping out?". It's a really valid question, and my answer should be going into trades. I've been always enjoying working with hands, as I grew up in rural area in Canada. I had to often fix house, cut down trees, flooring, lawn mowing, and so on. All the stuff I enjoyed it. The trades I'm interested in are plumbing, hvac, and electrician, stuff like that except car related. So best scenario if I drop out would be getting into apprenticeship right away, but I still hear the opinion of this from you guys.

How to land part time jobs

I'm a college student looking for at least a part-time jobs. 50+ applications were sent, and guess what, barely any interviews and rest were ghosted. I'm not even lacking work experience that much, how the hell am I supposed to get a job atp?

Also is Indeed supposed to be the best platform out there for jobs? I've been using Indeed the most, wondering any better methods exist out there.

I'm a college student and I need to work during summer but even after at least 50+ applications, still couldn't land one. And I'm not even lacking work experience. How the hell can I land at least a part-time job here?
