I know he was considered quite big, thus the name, but obviously he was only big for a bopper, and my understanding about the late 1950s is that not that many people had bopped, yet. So what’s going on here? Was he just a normal-sized man who happened to be big by the standards of boppers at the time? Or was he truly large irrespective of his bopper status? Curious to learn more.
