OK, so long story short I have access to X plan pricing I’m looking in about 70,000 (taxes and fees) for a custom 2026 XLT hybrid with high trim bed utility, mobile office 7.2 pro power, tow hall, fx4. I’m right now with the employee pricing going on either auction whether it’s plan pricing through my employer or employee pricing sale. I’m in the ideal rate. I want about 650 a month for 84 months with 25k down as I have good credit.. what my question is is what is the real advantage of going through a person at Ford that I know I have someone who works there in my buddy who just bought a platinum through them said he would hook me up with the name and he take care of me, but he’s in Pittsburgh and I live in DC so it’s like how much can you really do on a custom build? Is it worth it to go through his dealership? Has anyone had this experience what perks have they gotten through having a connection?
