Usually a cheerful girl,

living through everyday life's trials.

Looking unbothered

by worldly struggles, yet often left wondering alone with unsaid troubles.

Tried telling some of her wondering thoughts

got rejected, told it's not that hard.

Even after this, she continues to live by her smiling mask,

until the weight of the mask is too much to bear

it ends up falling every now and there.

Got caught without a mask once by her longing pair,

who asks her: why do you look like someone's dead?

None knows her fool's mask is just for show.

She is as dead as those they remembered her of.

She killed her own soul to lose the hope.

Every disappointment killed her old self,

who cared no less

but now cares no more.
