$2000 to school, $6000 for preschool/childcare, $800 gas. Plus the cost of not working at my paid job, estimate at least $5000. That's almost $14,000 that I am paying to do an unpaid internship. Not everyone will pay for childcare, but a lot of people in my program will, at least 40% are parents. This is for a BSW program, I already have a bachelor's in a different program. Its a bit ridiculous not to even receive $15-$20 per hour to stem the financial drain.
